Helló Hungary

We were invited by the Budapest group for a Kejiwaan weekend.  As with many groups after COVID, they were challenged with regrouping.  About 25 members attended.

Working with the helpers, we tested and received how important it was for helpers to have regular latihans together and for the men and women helpers to meet together on a regular basis in order to create an atmosphere where the latihan can flourish.  This would also attract the members back to the group.

There was a long discussion among the men about past situations where members had reportedly left because of the behavior of other members and even helpers. This highlighted the dilemma faced by groups between providing the opportunity to do latihan for anyone who asks for it and creating a safe space where all members can do the latihan. This led to a number of tests about forgiveness, and a discussion about WSA’s safeguarding initiative.

Finally, through testing, the Budapest group decided to go forward in proposing to host the Zone 4 2027 gathering, be held in Hungary.
