2010 WORLD CONGRESS WORKING PARTY ON EXTERNAL RELATIONS
At the 2010 Subud World Congress, one of the six working parties was on Subud’s external relations. The resulting paper states that “in the midst of the current global crisis many are searching for answers to problems and looking into the role of spirituality. Subud potentially has much to offer the world. Therefore WSA and all Subud organisations…need to take a more integrated approach to…make Subud more visible, accessible and welcoming to those who choose to join.”
EXTERNAL RELATIONS TASK FORCE PROPOSAL, resulting from World Congress:
- The overall objective of a task force would be to improve external relations in Subud and recommend new directions, working closely with the WSA-executive external relations Forum .
- The scope of this task force will examine external relations of all Subud related organisations i.e. WSA at local, regional and international levels including affiliates and related organisations.
