Approximately 1200 members, 60 groups, 25 countries, and 6 Subud houses.
Zone 4 covers central and eastern Europe, Scandinavia, northern Asia and part of the Middle East, with Scandinavia in the North and Greece, Israel, Lebanon and Turkey in the South to Russia and the Ukraine in the East. It has more countries with Subud members than any other zone. In fact, there are 25 countries with members and of these, 14 have national committees. An interesting fact is that English is the language commonly used throughout the zone, although it is not the native language for any of the countries.
This Zone also has more “younger” Subud countries than other zones, but includes long-established, well-organized countries. The variety of peoples, cultures, political systems, histories, and variance in economies makes for a rich and fascinating mix of Subud members, but also presents challenges.
Subud Houses: Cherkassy, Oslo and Wolfsburg

Zone 4 has a history of members and their families getting together for holidays and family camps. For many years every winter a ski-camp was organized in Switzerland, but also there have been gatherings in Greece, the Crimea, Poland, Germany, Norway, Hungary and elsewhere. Subudhouses in Zone 4 welcome foreign guests, most of them with accomodation. More infos on SWN / centers, with contact informations.
Germany celebrated its fiftieth Subud anniversary in 2007; with longstanding and active members, a vigorous Susila Dharma organization, and a national office with paid staff, it is one of the powerhouses of the zone.
At an opposite corner of the Zone, the Ukraine, Lithuania, Moldavia and Russia are active members of the Zone 4 and participate on the yearly meetings with great enthusiasm.
